Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island Island together with Newfoundland and Labrador, the Maritime provinces, make up the region of Atlantic Canada. Beautiful!
Bon jour! We’ve now left the beautiful Maritime Provinces of Canada behind and are on a train heading to Toronto, Ontario. VIA Canada’s long distance trains are quite comfortable and the food pretty good. This is a good thing because we’ve got a long way to go yet - over 6000 km!
If you want to learn/improve your French come to Canada. All announcements signs, food, supermarket items are in both English and French. We knew when we crossed into the province of Quebec because announcements started to be made in French first. J’aime Le Canada!
I could almost see God’s hand reach down through those cloud and certainly I could see cherubs ducking in and out of the clouds and rays of the setting sun.
Through our window the sky was on fire as we travelled NW. Glorious.
Not fancy but we had a mini Happy Hour with antipasto, cheese and Syrah Carmenere from Chile - out of paper cups! Juste aimer un petit pique-nique 🎶
And we have a toilet and shower - fantastique! You might think this is tiny but it’s about the size of the one in our caravan and we travelled with that for 8 months.
