We got to walk on a glacier!! it was a double wow experience. If you think we look clumsy, you’d be right. Layers of clothes and sox, wet gear, huge clumping gum boots - plus life jacket! All a challenge, but totally necessary - we didn't get cold or wet, OK maybe just a little bit! And again we were so thankful for our walking poles. Don't leave home without them! The green gloves? they were quite a talking point - they have kept our hands dry on countless zodiac sorties (they are gardening gloves purpose-bought at Bunnings last year).
