Quasi rooftop farming!

With only 1 sleep to go, we’ve been settling the garden down for the rest of summer on its own! We’ve been feeling a bit like urban/rooftop farmers and love it. Later in the year we’re putting in a large raised veggie garden and wow look out then!

I’ve harvested so much silver beet with still lots coming for the birds and insects to enjoy

Such glorious colour!

Hopefully the nasturtiums will have some seeds by the time we get back so I can pickle them - yummy Capres de capucine confit!

The kitchen is looking very peasant-like with onions curing, rocket seeds drying as well as herbs (ready to have a go at making herb salt).
